The Futures Conference 2024 will create a cross-disciplinary science platform where participants can meet, share, and discuss new ideas concerning futures of natural resources.
The global consumption of natural resources has reached unprecedented levels, prompting critical reflections on sustainability, equity, and the future of humanity. The Futures Conference 2024, themed "Futures of Natural Resources," delves into the pressing questions surrounding the sustainable management of natural resources. Join this exploration of diverse perspectives and potential solutions.
The conference program will consist of keynote lectures, parallel sessions and participatory workshops. The conference will aim to generate multidisciplinary, stimulating and critical discussions that promote networking between people interested in futures issues from different backgrounds and perspectives.
With approximately 200–350 individual participants attending from all over the world, international researchers, organisational delegates, business people and students convene to the FFRC annual conferences in the spirit of futures-oriented information, research, analysis and collaboration

Virtual Pre-Conference Day (June 4) will be held exclusively online.
Onsite Days (June 13–14) will take place in Turku, Finland, with select sessions available online.
In-person attendance is encouraged, but virtual participation is also welcomed for authors and attendees.
