Food &
Beverage

The way we produce, consume, and think about food and beverages is changing for good.

Climate shifts, population growth, and evolving consumer expectations are driving demand for sustainable, resilient, and personalized food systems. Meanwhile, food and beverage culture is constantly emerging and reflects how we live and what we want.

From lab-grown proteins to AI-optimized nutrition and regenerative agriculture, the future will not only be about feeding and serving more people, but about how we nourish both people and planet.

Examples of our work

  • Strategic Futures Thinking for Food & Beverage [Training]

Coca-Cola recognized the need to strengthen its ability to anticipate market shifts and consumer trends in the food and beverage sector. To build strategic foresight capacity, we designed and facilitated an interactive futures training for key employees across Latin America. Through scenario exploration, trend analysis, and practical foresight tools, participants got stronger at identifying opportunities, and integrating long-term thinking into decision-making.

  • Future Scenarios for Irish Food & Drink: Shaping 2035

To help Ireland’s food and drink industry navigate an evolving global landscape, we led a multi-stakeholder foresight process with Bord Bia. Through collaborative workshops, participants developed four distinct future scenarios, examining potential disruptions and their strategic implications. The process sparked fresh thinking, strengthened cross-sector collaboration, and resulted in an actionable roadmap to futures-prepare Ireland’s food and drink sector.

  • Superstimuli: The Ingenious Deception of our Senses [Article]
