Future Days 25: Towards Symbiotic Futures

Future Days 25 (FD25) is a festival dedicated to futures and systemic thinkers, innovators, creatives, purpose-driven organizations, and policymakers, all with a shared vision of shaping the future of urban life and fostering equitable societies. The event focuses on creating futures that go beyond technology, exploring how we can collectively drive meaningful change.

FD25 envisions a world where every species is intricately connected to its environment. Drawing inspiration from traditional models of coexistence and fostering intergenerational synergies, the festival emphasizes learning from the past to act in the present. The core of FD25 is nurturing the synergy and interconnectedness of all living systems, ensuring that the future is built on principles of harmony, respect, and sustainability for society and the planet.

Join FD25 to engage with forward-thinking ideas and collaborations that aim to build a more inclusive, symbiotic future.

We’re excited to announce that ANTICIPATE will be partnering with DDC – Danish Design Center to contribute to this year’s Future Days—a global festival dedicated to shaping the futures of urban life and equitable societies through and beyond technology.

At ANTICIPATE, democratizing futures is at the heart of what we do. That’s why Future Days resonates so strongly with us—it’s a space for collective exploration, open knowledge-sharing, and hands-on experimentation in futures thinking.

✳️ Our founder, Mathias, will be facilitating an unconference session alongside Andreas K. Mortensen (DDC), critically unpack the festival’s theme, "Toward symbiotic futures" using open deliberation and zine-making as tools.

🔹 Why zines?

Zine-making is a self-publishing, grassroots practice that decentralizes knowledge creation—making it an ideal method to explore the complex, entangled relationships of symbiotic futures while challenging dominant narratives about technology.

See you there!
