Challenge
The workshop sought to engage 35 product designers and engineers from the energy sector in a foresight exercise. They were tasked with projecting into the future, considering the complex interplay of megatrends and polycrises, to innovate product prototypes for 2030.
Approach
Utilizing a 'futuresstorm', the workshop explored five pivotal inflection points where significant trends and crises intersect. Participants were encouraged to think deeply about the future, pushing beyond traditional boundaries to envision product solutions that address emerging challenges and leverage opportunities.
