The Conference 2024

The Conference 2024, set to unfold over two-and-a-half days in Malmö, Sweden, is a forward-thinking event designed to explore the intricate relationship between humans, machines, nature, and beyond. Drawing inspiration from Donna Haraway's "A Cyborg Manifesto," this year's theme encourages participants to reflect on the past and future, examining the connections our society forms and sometimes needs to reform with technology and systems.

Scheduled for August, The Conference aims to engage a thousand attendees from around the world—ranging from brain scientists to artists, and from chefs to activists. It seeks to provide an experience akin to a visit to an arts museum, a dinner at a professor's house, and a business retreat, all combined into a dynamic and grounded format. The program will feature diverse speakers who will tackle topics such as AI, boredom, architecture, and outer space, aiming to inspire and challenge participants to think differently about technology and relationships.

Attendees can expect to engage with a vibrant community of communicators, creatives, and executives, all sharing a common interest in systems, digital practices, and potential improvements to how the world functions. This gathering is not just about the transmission of ideas but also about creating a space where meaningful connections and collaborations can emerge.
