About the Event

The Global Dialogue Platform on Anticipatory Humanitarian Action will hold its 13th annual gathering from December 2–4, 2025. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event, offering a hybrid format that combines in-person participation in Berlin with virtual access for a broader audience. The platform provides an opportunity for stakeholders in the humanitarian field to exchange ideas, share practices, and discuss lessons learned to advance anticipatory action within the humanitarian system.

Background

Since its inception in 2015, the Global Dialogue Platform has served as a forum for professionals and organizations focused on anticipatory humanitarian action. The event facilitates dialogue, collaboration, and innovation to better prepare for and respond to humanitarian challenges. This 10th anniversary edition reflects on the platform's impact over the years while continuing to promote proactive approaches to humanitarian work.
