The Foresight Practitioner Conference (FPC) is scheduled for March 3-4, 2025, at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Organized by the International Institute of Forecasters (IIF), the event aims to unite business leaders, forecasting practitioners, and researchers to discuss advancements in forecasting methodologies.

Ruby Kuklov (AstraZeneca): Approaches to forecasting in biotech pipelines.
Lauren Davis (North Carolina A&T State University): Utilizing forecasting for efficient food distribution in food banks.
Simon Spavound (Drexel University): Strategies for deploying forecasting models in business contexts.
Additionally, the conference will host the inaugural IIF Forecasting Practice Competition, highlighting organizations that have effectively implemented forecasting improvements. Finalists, including Wayfair, Maersk, Hewlett-Packard, Ipiranga, and OpenGrid Europe, will present their projects on March 2, 2025, with the winner announced during the conference.
