The Dubai Future Forum is an annual event hosted by the Dubai Future Foundation at the iconic Museum of the Future that brings together futurists, foresight practitioners, thought leaders, and experts from academia and various industries as well as government to anticipate challenges, imagine opportunities, share foresight, and shape the future.
More information will follow on the 2025 edition, but here’s what happened at the 2024 edition:
Last year's Dubai Future Forum was held under the Empowering Generations theme, reflecting many perspectives on the UN Summit of the Future and subsequently assisting in the implementation of the Summit's main conclusions and recommendations. In an attempt to make sure that these futures for children around the world remain optimistic and hopeful, it also sought to more widely aim to investigate the potential futures for them.
The 2024 Edition highlighted the vital areas of health, longevity, and the holistic well-being of people, societies, and our planet under the themes of optimizing health, transforming humanity, and futuring nature.
In addition to the general program on, there was the following activities:
Networking Day offered participants an Emirati experience and provided an occasion to share and connect with one another. In contrast to the official days of the Dubai Future Forum, this day took participants on a journey into the UAE’s past – through its food, its traditions and its heritage.
Forum x Dubai, with the DFF expanding its reach across the city with a series of exclusive events before and after the main forum. Taking place at venues throughout the city, the events were designed to bring together futurists and thought leaders in more focused and intimate settings, fostering deeper collaboration and fresh, innovative exchanges.
Learnings Day, dedicated to enhancing the collective capacity to navigate the future through strategic foresight practices.
