Festival der Zukunft: Reclaiming the Future


In challenging times, innovative ideas for a better world still emerge. The "Festival der Zukunft," organized by 1E9 and the Deutsches Museum, offers a platform to explore advancements in technology, science, business, art, and society. This four-day event, held in the heart of Munich along the Isar River, features keynotes, debates, workshops, exhibitions, networking opportunities, and live music.

Conference: June 27-28

The conference is the central gathering for those shaping a better future, including start-ups, academics, industry leaders, venture capitalists, policymakers, civil society, and artists. Attendees will gain exclusive insights from top-class speakers on cutting-edge developments in artificial intelligence, ClimateTech, Biotech & Health, Extended Reality, Web3, and New Space. Workshops and networking sessions will help participants learn how to apply these innovations within their organizations and expand their professional networks. The Experience Area offers a chance to interact with future technologies through art, VR experiences, and prototypes.

Tickets are required for conference access, and places are limited.

Family Days: June 29-30

The weekend is dedicated to families, with free admission, emphasizing that the future concerns everyone. These days will feature engaging lectures and debates on the latest scientific and technological advancements, alongside workshops, games, and interactive activities designed for all ages. A street party on Museum Island will enhance the festive atmosphere.

Bringing together some of the brightest and most creative minds from Germany and around the globe, the Festival der Zukunft features lectures and debates where experts present their future visions and discuss ways to improve our world. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and draw inspiration from these thought leaders.

Arts & Culture

Recognizing the inseparability of technology and art, the festival also provides a platform for artists and creatives to showcase their work. Attendees can immerse themselves in Extended Reality worlds, experience interactive installations, and even participate in art projects.
